    Stolen Ball Pythons

Fing horrible cant believe someone would stoop to that level to breed... How Pathetic. I am definitely going to be installing security cameras now.. I feel so bad for that person. Was it a member by any chance?

I tried posting the pics from the link above on here but Tapatalk is acting stupid.

It would be great if the owner could give out some more info so people know what to look for. There are a lot of eyes on this site, maybe someone could help.

I chuckled when they commented that the snakes weren't poisonous... No snakes are poisonous
Some of the genus Rhabdophis and a handful of others beg to differ.

Thats what i believe as well. But the number is on the bottom of the article.

Can someone local to this, someone compassionate, give her a call and ask for more pics as well as genetic information on all missing snakes? So that it gets posted in this forum and elsewhere?

It would feel wrong for me to do it since i live in Germany, different continent, halfway around the planet, and if i now call long distance with my accent and ask questions, i dont know, feels weird.

But we do have the luxury of calling up the victim directly, get the helpful data, and share our compassion. Maybe donate new hatchlings or something, maybe put the pictures up in forums and make them sticky in trade sections of forums. Give that 1500 dollar reward some teeth by publicising it together with good data on the snakes within the community.

I hope there will be a solution to this case.

I like this idea. If someone can contact them and get them to either open an account here to post them or allow one of the users here to post pictures. I know I'm one of the ones who ALWAYS browses through Fauna, here, Kingsnake, and other classifies on a daily basis (gotta love window shopping!). Hopefully we can be of some help and get these snakes back to their owner.

I'll keep an eye and ear out here in Maryland. It just sucks that people would stoop to this! Plus the fact that they grabbed pregnant females is upsetting. Hopefully the eggs will make it too!

They're not very good thieves though to leave obvious footprints in muddy ground.

I was worried about that, but since it sounds like they knew which ones were valuable hopefully they know something about care.

    AWESOME

with the plotting and sceming getting started and based on everything i know about this community so far..... The perpetrator will have a hard time getting away with this. The direct contact to the victims will help A LOT, im certain about that. With good pics a good match can easily be made when the snakes resurface, the pattern is like a fingerprint.

Firebee male-- 400 g, not quite breeding size.
Yellowbelly female-- not breeding size, feisty
    Mohave
    Het Ghost
    Lemon Blast
    3 visual Pied
    • Pied female-- her eyebar is solid brown rather than broken
    • Pied male is low-white with three small symmetrical triangular breaks in his pattern

    Cinnamon het Pied
Pinstripe female-- 1700 grams, small eye in pattern
    Orange Ghost
    Mohave het Ghost

With the exception of the two juvies listed at the top, the rest taken were breeder males and gravid females. The several that have unique characteristics are described. Mr. Robinson was iffy about publicising any more pictures of them, but if you see any breeder animals for sale that fit these descriptions, go ahead and give them a call. They are heartbroken.

What I was worried about was that since they stole them, they're probably looking to flip them for a quick buck. If that's the case, they probably wouldn't want to expend the 3~ months to raise the eggs then care for the young, and just chuck the eggs.

I hope so much that's not the case.
