Laying substrate?
I have my females on paper towels right now. I don't want the eggs to get stuck to the tub and damaged when I try to peel them off. The girls have a way of pushing the paper around immediately after I lay it down. Is another substrate better for laying? I think I've seen people switch substrates but I can't find anything specific.

I keep my breeding girls on newspaper and have never had an issue with eggs sticking to the tubs. Occasionally a little light reading stuck to the bottoms of the eggs, though.

Re: Laying substrate?
LOL that works for me.. and should I be keeping humidity high pre-lay to help with the laying process or to keep the eggs good if she happens to lay while I'm not home?

They tend to create humidity when there isn't any, spilling water bowls or defecating. But a little humidity never hurt, unless of course it's too much. I heard dental floss helps to remove stuck eggs. Just peel carefully and you should be fine.
