2 day Car Trip with 5 BP's and 7 Hatchlings

We are moving from Orlando to Austin in late June. I have 7 eggs in Incubator that should hatch around June 10. Didn't plan on moving till the fall, or I would have not have bred this year. Things got moved up a few months.

We will probably spend an overnight in Hotel. Does anyone have suggestions? I'm sure the AC will be on in car, so is styrofoam coolers with pillow cases enough? I don't think I'll be able to leave them in the car, even with the windows down a bit. I guess 2 days of drive thrus.. Any help would be appreciated. I searched here and google, but didn't find much info? Thanks!

Is there anyone that you could have the snakes shipped to? That would be the easiest way to transport them.

If not you could get a DC : AC inverter for your car and run a few UTH's to keep them warm

In 2007 I moved from NJ to AZ in August. I rented an RV and drove for days with over 50 adults, 20 or so babies and and two clutches in the incubator. Everything made it fine. I bagged the adults up and packed them like I was shipping them. I put babies in deli cups with aspen. I actually pinned my incubator on a seat in the RV. I would plug the incubator in at night when we stopped and threw a few heat packs in there when we were driving. The incubator would drop into the low 80s but I hatched a clutch mid way and one hatched about a month later. No issues at all. The RV rattled like you wouldn't believe. I was about a half hour into the trip and figured I'd lose the eggs for sure. I brought ice packs just in case and everyone made it fine.

This was a significant trip but yours sounds pretty small, you'll be fine with some planning.
