Ball Python will not eat.
Hello,
This is my first Ball Python and he hasn't eaten since we got him around two weeks ago. He still seems relatively large so he may just not be hungry but I would appreciate some advice from those of you who have Ball Pythons. We have him in a tank that's a bit bigger than a 20 gal long with coconut shell as the bedding. We have an in-floor heater and he has water in his tank. He gets a decent amount of light from my window so he knows whether it's day or night though he is very active at night.
Anyways, it would be greatly appreciated if I could get some advice on this.
Thanks!

I think you need to provide a lot more information, such as his cold side and hot side temperatures.

Is a in floor heater a under tank heater? If so is needs a thermostat.
What is the hotspot surface temp?
Cool side air temp?
Warm side air temp?

Woah! Those temps are way to warm! The hot spot should be 88-92 and the cold should be 75-80. Are you controlling the heat source with a thermostat at all?????

Two links for you:
First, our CARESHEET ...which details how best to set up a first-time enclosure and what environmental settings to aim for. It also has a section called "Why won't my snake eat?" Which may give you some helpful angles to consider.
Second, a HELP FORM with specific questions that you can answer. The more of these you can answer, the easier it will be for us to help you dial in and fix the issues that might be wrong.
But read that Caresheet carefully first...use it to make adjustments to your enclosure, and see what happens.
