So thats like $1.15-$1.20-ish per rat.

The local pet store (in CT) charges $4.99 for small live rats and $2.99 for adult mice. And i *think* like $6.99 for medium rats.
LOL tell me about it, only place i can get live is petco, 4.99 for an adult mouse and 9.99 for a small rat.

    Erm...

Pretty sure if you feed snakes the same size of prey, it'll grow the same whether fed live or f/t.

My local pet store charges 2.99 for a small frozen rat. I live sort of in the middle of nowhere and the next nearest pet store is 45 minutes to an hour away. I've looked at some of the online places an if I get more snakes I might start ordering. Since I only have one right now with the shipping charges it doesn't really pay for me to order online at this point.
