Airing egg boxes

Today is day 54 of incubation. I have two egg boxes, one that has two holes and the other has none. How often should I be airing them out? Is it alright if I air them out while they are in the incubator and for how long? Thanks

The one with two holes should be fine left alone, the other box I would just open and give a quick look everyday or so. Is there any condensation building up on the lids at all? How do the eggs look?

The one with holes has some condensation on the lid and the one without holes has a bit on the sides. The eggs are pretty dimpled but probably because they are so close to hatch date.

What kind of tub are they in? Regular $1 shoe boxes aren't air tight so I really don't worry about it. I think most people say air them out once a week. When they get really close to the end I open and shut the lid once a week-typically because I'm just checking on them.

Air them if it makes you feel better, but there is absolutely no need to exchange air. I incubate in plastic shoe box tubs with a piece of Saran wrap over the box before the lid is installed. I don't open the box until day 52 to cut the eggs. It doesn't hurt to exchange air, but I would make sure the temp of the air is as close as possible to the air in the box to minimize condensation.

Mostly depends on the type of incubation set up you are doing.
With substrateless and holes there is no need to open the tubs at all.
But then we still do because who doesn't check on their eggs everyday at day 54
