Would I need to do anything for a busted blood vessel? I think that's possibly what it is. The last rat she got I noticed some difficulty coiling it. Is this a common thing? I've never seen anything like it before
She could've simply overstretched her mouth at some point while eating and popped a vessel. Nothing for you to do but monitor. If that is the problem then time will heal it.

Thank you for the quick response! My mind is slightly at ease now. I'm an over protective reptile owner lol
My first thought would be a busted blood vessel from feeding. When was the last meal and was it over sized at all?
Second possibility is a burn. Do you use belly heat or lamps?
thats exactly what i was thinking. maybe were wrong but who knows, could be anything. Could be an infection?????? good luck finding a cure
