Who's got the biggest balls???

I have a male that is 1978g at three years old. He's three meals in after a 5 month fast, so I'm interested to see how much he keeps after a shed and poop, and how much he'll be by fall.

this normal female is almost 5100 grams last time I weigh her. the pastel clown isn't breeding her, I just put him in to compare sizes. she's also in a cb70 tub.

My big girl was at around 2900 before she ovulated, after laying she was around 1700. She has been eating like crazy for the past month and is already over 2100 again . Hoping for 3500 this year!!!

Ok Gale...so i was about 900g off :p but i coulda swore HE told me she had gained 2000g since he got her. I know she had been sick with an RI months ago, but no way she wouldve lost that much weight. Anyway, here she is (sorry crappy cell pic) his pastel subsaharan big girl...

Fascinated by this thread! How in the world do these large beauties fit into a hide? Or do they not use hides anymore once they get 5-feet long and a few thousand grams? It's a serious question because the biggest I have is a 700g "baby" compared to some of these bruisers, and I just can't fathom how I'm going to find hides big enough for her some day if she gets so big!

Not sure bout everyone else, but my biggest girl doesnt have a hide. She's in a tub an doesn't seem to mind the lack of one

I kind of ween mine off hides once they get close to 1k grams and they're in a rack. Doesn't seem to bother any of them.

I think the question of a hide is how they are housed. In the enclosure she gets hides, wash basins, in a rack she has nothing.

I have an old male. I have had him for 4 years I guess, I had him for a friend whom had to re home him due to health issues. he had him for 15 years or so and he inturn rescued him from an an owner whom said he was in her keeping for 2 or 3 years. he was an adult when she got him.

That means he is at least 22 but likely older. I figure he is middle aged now.
