It's still amazing to me what a black background does to the yellow on snakes... Awesome pics, love Henna's periscoping!

The black background/black glass is a bigger pain in the arse, that's for sure. I just like playing with different styles
    Thanks! Me too ^_^

    Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing.

I love the black background! Sometimes makes color off, but the snake looks tons way brighter.

    beautiful models.

the black background on light/bright snakes really makes them stand out even more.

    Re: Black Background

I hate to say this, but I'm not a fan of the pictures. I know your animals look much more amazing than portrayed in this particular shoot. I think you need more lighting. The snakes look a lot darker than normal.

No worries! I appreciate the feedback
I agree honestly. I wasn't going to post them originally because I didn't like the colors, but henna was being such a good model with the periscoping, I just had to. This was a trial set up, with only one light. Next time I give a black glass shoot a try I'll add another. It's hard to balance the lighting while not glaring the snakes or glass unfortunately. I will get it right one day though!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!
