Anybody else experince this?
I just bought a 8 month male albino ball python from the store, he is EXTREMELY tame and healthy! I can touch him on the head and everything! I haven't even had him for 24 hours yet and he is puppy dog tamed and not showing any stress at all! He is transitioning great! He is a great ball python! I know many ball pythons have that baby attitude about them, he doesn't at all!

^^ The link I posted is a video of me handling him and stuff!
I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else?

I've had quite a few come in that were real easy going. I've yet to have a real defensive new BP; most are pretty relaxed but still a little shy until they acclimate.

I've had my share of both real snappish and fairly laid back. I did get an adult male pastel that was an angel from the moment he came home from the show. He was just a doll baby. And he loves kids. He just goes from kid to kid, just gentle and mushy and not head shy at all. Kids love him right back, he's so tame around kids. No jerking or sudden movements, even when the kids get a little rowdy. You couldn't ask for a better pet.
And the funny thing is, the breeder I bought him from said he was a breeder only, and had never been handled, so I was told expect him to be snappish and aggressive. Apparently he never got that memo.
On the other end of the spectrum, I've had a couple come to be as rescues that took weeks to months to settle down. They huffed and snapped and thrashed, refused to eat and were just all around difficult animals. The good thing is, most BP's turn out to be good natured snakes when given a little time and patience.
