    Incubator circulation help needed

What is the best placement of fans in a wine cooler incubator?

I have one at the top, and one at the bottom, both blowing toward the center of the incubator.
I still have a difference in temps between the top and bottom of the incubator. ANY and all help is appreciated.

What size is the cooler and heat tape you are using? One fan at the top blowing down should be enough.

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head the exact dimensions, but I'd say 3 to 3 1/2 feet by 18" inside...12" heat tape.
    Here's a pic.

I have since added about 4 inches of heat tape behind the water bottles hoping to heat them up a bit and get some warmth down there. The fan is mounted behind the light, so you cannot see it, the other is mounted below the bottom rack toward the back, neither are mounted flush to the walls of the incubator but are seperated by water bottle caps, so about 1/2" or so.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

The fan placement seems fine, adding the heat tape will help a lot. Keep in mind with that amount of water bottles it will take a while to heat up so I would recommend running it for a day and check the temps after that. The bator looks great!

Oh, and thank you for the compliment, too. I'm going to be replacing the wine cooler's shelves with those "Closet-Maid" wire shelves that you cut to size. I think that will make it look even nicer.

I think it will look nicer for sure and the tubs should sit flat. Good luck let me know how everything turns out
