Wet spots on the bottom of eggs.

I have 7 eggs in my bator which were layed on March 24. They were on 2 layers of egg crate though but it looks like they weighed it done enough to get the little bit of paper towel that was stuck to them wet and now some of the egg bottoms are wet. I did add a third layer of egg crate a few minutes ago, will that help prevent my eggs getting more wet and will the wet spots dry up now that I raised them abit more?

    Sounds like substrateless incubation...

I suggest you add some kind of support lift for your egg crate therefore the weight on them wouldn't matter and you wouldn't need the extra layer of crate, the idea is not to have the eggs touch the water at all.
