Handling Ball Pythons
I was wondering, is there a correct way on how to handle ball pythons? Or is it just a place the snake in your hands kind of thing? I know you try to support the body weight and not touch the head but is there any other things that goes along with handling?

I pick them up with both hands in the middle part of the body, "hooking" them, not grabbing.
Then hold in hands or place on shoulder.

Re: Handling Ball Pythons
Firm but gently, supporting the heaviest part of the body so not to overly stress any particular muscle group.

My adult male will just crawl up my arm and around my neck as soon as I stick it into his tank if he wants out, my female is still small so I just scoop her up into the palm of my hand to pick her up.

Re: Handling Ball Pythons
they dont like to be firmly held, just hold them in a way that allows them to slither through your hand. Also they get nervous and move a lot when they feel there is a risk of them falling down, so yes, well-supported on the arms or shoulders is the right way to go.
apart from that, there isnt much that you could do wrong.
