Is a dwarf retic and full size retic the same snake? Do they have the same scientific name?

One of our members, reptileexperts, has a great description on his website about the differences between the two. The background makes it a little difficult to read, but I felt like I understood much better when I was through.

Can't believe I missed this post - and sorry about the background! I was working on a reptile blog and the button for it got named the background name and boom instant mess. I will have it fixed by tomorrow.
For the information you want, they do have different names. In fact the classification of it is going into much review lately. They are going to have the same Generic Name and Species name, but then you will get into Sub-species names. . . .
There is a really great paper you should read -

This paper will answer your question quick and to the point.
