An the reasoning behind this? Just wondering because some people don't have the money to drop on more expensive combo or single gene morph, but would still like a neater looking snake in the collection or they may want to take cheaper single gene morphs and work up to where they have made their own combo morphs keeping things at more of a budget.

    makes no sense

Almost anything you find in the $100 range is going to be a male and others have listed almost everything but a cinny.
Find the one that catches your eye and go from there, just remember to check out the whole expo first because if you buy the first animal you see you might find something better.

I don't agree with needing to spend more. Spend what your comfortable with and in your budget especially if this is your first one.

Yes I now have more expensive morphs but I started with a $60 het albino. I still have her and why because she is a great snake. If you ask my daughters she is their favorite. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

just went to an expo in san antonio this past weekend. there were normal balls for as low as 30 and hets for around 100-150. the best thing to do when you purchase ANY animal from a breeder is to ask alot of questions. health problems feeding issues, shedding issues, whatever concern you may have. not everyone prices thier animals the same so u may get lucky and find something to your liking. just dont get sold on a snake just because its a morph for a good price. also remember to try and get there early, because the best deals tend to go fast

morphs fro under $100 at an expo?

I spent a 90 on a pin from and expo. She was a baby and priced at 120 but you can normally haggle. And she was perfectly healthy and up to 500g now

You can get very nice examples of the aforementioned morphs for about $100 at an expo.

$400 would be over paying for those morphs. $400 steps you up to the next level of morphs, so if you have $100 we have given several options for a nice morph male.

I fully agree with seeing all the BPs at the expo before you buy.

Get there EARLY, I mean like first in line early. Once you get in, cruise all of the Ball Python tables, skip EVERYTHING else. Once you have seen a few you like, narrow it down, talk to the breeder and buy it. THEN relax and cruise the rest of the booths and look at all the cool stuff.
