But in all seriousness, I don't have any dating standards... I either like you or I don't (and I usually don't). I've never really been in the "searching for love" mindset. Not to say I don't go on dates and what not, but those are, in all honesty, because I have nothing better to do at that particular time and I never really have any intention of actually getting to know them. I don't know, maybe I'm destined to be a hermit because I rather like being alone

Thank you Mike, I will change that. And IDK, people make enough jokes about "never having to look far for a relationship when you're bi" and I just don't care for it. It narrows my options down and I look for totally different things in each gender which makes it hard to compare. So, I just decide if I want to be with one or the other. Mind you, there are cases where I will make an exception and end up being with either, but for the most part it's just easier emotionally for me.

Everyone has their own particular brand of crazy (all humans are bat poop crazy). The key to a good relationship is finding the person, whose crazy blends well with yours. You'll know when you find it.

Just a suggestion... I've found that if you make a list of what someone must/must not have or do, you're going to end up unhappy. If your list includes things like "isn't an addict" - you're looking in the wrong places. That should be a given.

Focus on what's important (hint to you punctual types... - is being 15 minutes late really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things?? Why??)

I'm with Mike on the "supports my hobbies/interests", but I'd add things like "is loyal", "I can laugh with", "is kind", "I am genuinely interested in (as a person)"...

We all have deal killers - and should. But if you make those deal killers trivial... good luck.

I don't "need" a chick that loves reptiles or snakes. In fact, i'd almost prefer she has her own hobbies so that way we each have our own things we like. As long as she supports me, is willing to go to expos, sorta pretend to understand why I get so excited over stupid stuff lol, etc., then thats good enough for me.

I'm not the best with cars or the likes so I'm on the lookout for a mechanic. You know, like Michelle Rodriguez, in Fast and Furious....

This has been the story for my girlfriend and me. She doesn't have an interest in reptiles (she does like Enzo though ), but she respects and supports my hobby/interest and has gone with me on my road trips to expos (for some reason she seems to enjoy my company ). It's worked out well so far as we celebrated our 1 year anniversary yesterday, so if it's the right person, it definitely can be done.
