when you say reduced pattern clown. that can still vary greatly. my male clown is reduced but not as much as my reduced pastel clown. when you get into the very reduced clowns the price takes a big jump. so when you ask for a price, it depends on the snake. in clowns it can vary greatly. this time of the year when there's not much be offer will also keep the prices higher than when all the clutches begin to hatch out. shop around and buy the snake you like. don't limit youself to just the big name breeders. many local breeders will have some great stuff too. good luck hope you find that one that catches your eye. don

reduced pattern is the stripe right? i like my clowns to have a spiky looking stripe like in this video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yFdCxoJrP0
that looks like the perfect clown to me!
and also, do clowns tend to fade out like that as they age?(first pic)

if you talking more pattern on the sides, then it might not be a reduced clown and those will be cheaper as they are not in demand as much as a reduce clown. I recommend you not to jump on the first clown you see and do some research on them so you see whats out there and don't regret waiting after buying something you thought you wanted. there are some cool combos with the clown gene in it. here's a site where you can see many different combos. yes the clown and clown combos are by far my favorite project. hope this helps you some. don
