New to breeding boas... Two quick questions!
Ok so this guy is giving me a male DH Sunglow redtail, but it looks pretty normal, but he says it is het for sunglow...? Is that even possible?!?!?! Also he is giving me a female that is a normal, but 100% het for albino. If I breed these two will I get any morphs that dont look normal, or will they all look normal just be het for hypo or albino. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
(I was gonna put up some pics of the male, but I cant figue out how to attach images to my post???)

its got to be a hypo het albino to be het for sunglow. So the boa should lack black pigment and have red saddles? otherwise its a normal het albino like the female if he is hypo het albino with the pairing youll get normal, hypos 66% het albino and youll also have visual morph albinos and sunglows. also phto bucket is what I use to post pictures on forums

ok in the boa world you are gonna find a lot screwy with the lingo when it comes to genetics. a DH sunglow is actually a hypo (co-dominant gene in boas) het for albino. Some of use got tired of trying to figure all of that out and rounded up the info and Owal made us a genetic calculator for boas here's the link

Definitely not a DH sunglow. Pretty much what Hotsalza said. If you're going to be breeding boas you should research morphs especially the most basic ones like this
Females: 0.1 fire; 0.1 sugar; 0.1 GHI; 0.1 pinstripe het desert ghost; 0.1 mojave spider; 0.2 mojave; 0.1 black pewter blast; 0.1 leopard pied; 0.1 champagne; 0.1 pied; 0.1 super pastel lesser; 0.1 pewter; 0.1 spider het pied, 0.1 bumblebee; 0.1 lesser; 0.1 spider; 0.1 normal; 0.3 het pied
Males: 1.0 het desert ghost; 1.0 pastel pied; 1.0 leopard; 1.0 black pastel; 1.0 enchi; 1.0 mojave; 1.0 cinnamon; 1.0 pied; 1.0 vanilla
Other species: 1.0.3 pacman frogs (sunkissed, super apricot, super blue, super lime green); 0.2 crested gecko; 1.0 hypo hog island boa; 0.1 normal boa; 1.0 rottweiler; 1.0 chihuahua

And that's what they are telling you. Its not a hypo so the best it could be is het albino but without breeding you won't know. DH means double het. Which is a bad term since in boas hypo is a co dominant gene there is no het for it. Either it is or isn't hypo but we are in their world so we have to use the terms set forth by those great and powerful boa breeders before use. DH SUNGLOW aka hypo het sunglow aka hypo het albino. But either the current owner is misinformed on what he has or is trying to pull a fast one. I'd walk away and spend my money with a reputable breeder. Depending on your budget we can recomemnd several places to get a dh sunglow. If you want to spend big bucks I know a breeder that has dh sharp sunglows. Lol I say big bucks but honestly he's not badly priced for sharp line.

Well he is trading me for my six foot tiger retic male. I figured even if they are just het albino, a breeding pair of redtails is a good trade!

But if you do know where I can get a breeding size male sunglow that would be cool!
