How long do I have to get a clutch of eggs from the BP to the INCUBATOR?

Hello all, this is my very first clutch. My female laid them between Monday and Today, how long do I have til I need to get them into an incubator? Reason I ask is....I am waiting for my Thermostat for my incubator I built, its been on back order and should've been here by now. But til I get it I am wondering how long I have...

Thanks and please any info you guys can provide!

As long as you have a decent temp inside the tub then they will be fine in there for at least a week or 2.

Keep in mind some people dont ever take the eggs away from the female and let her maternally incubate them herself. I am not one of these people however.

Last year i was in the same boat as you. Was still a couple days away from finishing our Bator, my female ended up staying on the clutch for 5 days, all eggs hatched and are 100% healthy today.

    Awesome Thank You!!!

As soon as my thermostat gets here my bator will be ready but I think she laid them as early as Monday. I can see one slug maybe, but other than that they all look good!! Thanks for your help! Really appreciated!!!
