The intro+ would be the lowest price (100$) with the best features. The herpstat 1 is a great all round one for an extra 40%. The HS2 and HS4 have 2 and 4 probes so will control 2 or 4 separate devises. Herpstats are cheater than the competition I don't know REBELLMORPH is on about. Unless you are comparing a on/off stat? There is a world of difference between them. Buy a good quality t-stat and save vet bills!

For a single heat lamp, the herpstat intro + or the herpstat 1 would be best. The herpstat intro and herpstat 1 basic are a little cheaper, but lack a few safety features that I think are worth the extra cost in the herpstat intro + and the herpstat 1.

The herpstat intro + costs less than a Helix DBS-1000 and is a much better unit. The Herpstat 1 costs the exact same amount as a helix and is a much better unit. The herpstat 2 and herpstat 4 cost more yes, but they have 2 and 4 times as many thermostat units as the helix does.

Overall you get the least for your money with the helix.

I seen this Question sooooo many times..but this is why we have forum and people to answer...

I'm very happy with basic Herpstat for 2.5 years now..

Thinking about Breeding and buying Rack for hatchlings I've decided to purchase another thermostat...

yesterday I've ordered Herpstat 2 for controlling my present rack and future hatchling rack simultaneously...

And thermostat witch I'm using now will take care of my DIY Incubator

For the extra $24 dollars I would go with the herpstat 1

    Best thermostat?

Also I would make sure to pick up a spare pack of fuses.

Okay. Yeah I was actually thinking I will get that one. I was looking at the humidity probe and they only have that for Herpstat 1. I couldn't edit the post though.

Decided on getting to Herpstat 1 (not Herpstat 1 Basic) for $139 still from http://www.spyderrobotics.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1
Was thinking of getting the humidity probe, but they don't have that for Herpstat 1 Basic.

Again if there are any other suggestion/ better pricing please let me know

    Thanks again
