Sick BP

My ball python has not eaten in about 2-3 months. He is about 3 years old and i have been feeding him frozen rats since I had him. He sometimes will jump for the rat but he is often a garbage picker and will eat them off the ground. Lately he has decided to not eat at all. I have heard it may be simply because it could be mating season but I am getting worried at this point. He is very active in his enclosure. I have a female BP and she is eating fine and completely healthy. Any help would be very appreciated. If anymore information is needed please ask. Thank you.

Sounds like he wants so alone time with your female Meaning, it is breeding season.

Most of my adult males haven't eaten in months. As long as they are a good chunky size and not loosing weight rapidly, they will be absolutely fine.

As for the over activity, I think this is also related to breeding. I have one male in particular that roams so much he has two little sores on his chin from rubbing on his tub Poor guy, he just wants the ladies so bad! Every time I put him with a female they are locked within hours.
