What's important when buying a ball morph?

Everyone has a thought process when buying a ball python morph!

To keep it simple lets just assume you are going to buy a single gene morph.

How do these things rank in importance to you:

    1. Price: you've narrowed down a price range and are going to stick to morphs in that range no matter what

    2. Seller reputation: you've heard great things or have had excellent experiences with breeder so that you decide to purchase something only they're selling

    3. Combo potential: there's a certain combo you want to make and you need one of the ingredients no matter how much or who's selling it!

    Thanks for participating!

What's important when buying a ball morph?

    For me its:

    1. I decide what I want.
    2. I PM tiffany and tell her what im looking for. Tiffany uses her witch magic and finds me what im looking for.
    3. Then I buy it. I make sure the seller has a good rep first too, before buying.

Here is how it rank for me

    1# A quality animal.

The animal itself, it must be something that is the best example of the morph.

2# Buying from a reputable breeder with ethics and great customer service.

    3# Price.

Re: What's important when buying a ball morph?

Those three options don't necessarily apply to me.

    1. The animal is exactly what I'm looking for as far as appearance goes

    2. The morph fits well into my breeding plans

    3. The seller is reputable and I get good customer service

    4. Price - however, this is not too important to me. I'll pay quite a penny for the right snake.

Price should be the last thing your looking at.
I find the animal I like, and find someone I feel comfortable doing business with.

    Thanks for your response Deborah!

I should have included a fourth option called "other," as quality is also in important factor.

Re: What's important when buying a ball morph?

I generally find the morph I want, pick a seller, that has it with a good reputation and then the price is usually in consequential. I want what I want, and if I have to save up for it then I will.
