To feed or not to feed

So my ball started going blue on Monday it's now Thursday night and its feeding night... Question is should I just wait till shedding is over... I've fed during the blue stage before but never this far in.... Thnx

I think it's been determined it doesn't hurt the snake at all, it's just a matter of whether the snake wants to eat or not.

With it being this close to shedding, I'd wait until the snake sheds. I will feed in blue for those that eat (I have three in blue now - they tend to sync with one another...conveniently in one rack - and one was interested in eating) but I won't offer after they've gone clear again. When they begin to shed, the skin can get caught around their bellies (where the meal would be) and it can get stuck. Once it dries, it constricts and it can kill the snake. I've never had an issue feeding in blue but I did feed my spider once in her clear phase before shedding and she presumed to shed immediately after eating. I happened to catch her and had to help her shed because the skin got caught.

I wouldn't worry. Snakes can go months without food. A few days won't hurt. I've even changed up my male's feeding schedule because he's been breeding up a storm! He's in blue now and won't eat so I'll try again next week.

Doesnt hurt to offer them food when they are in shed.. I mean my girl will pretty much eat with her eyes in the Blue stage she's a beast. But i stopped that a few months ago i just wait until the shed cycle is complete then i will feed her more like a reward for the perfect shed
