Re: Bubbles on the tail end of my balled python???
Hi,
Am I right in seeing a drastic colour change between the swollen and non-swollen regions?
How are you heating your enclosure?
And what is that in the bottom left of the last picture?
I think that is beyond treating at home to be honest and needs to be taken to a vet sooner rather than later.

7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.
And as for the heating sources I had. Heating pad
Two heating bulbs.
I have one for night and day.
I just recently found out that the eating pad was pretty hot where I couldn't keep my hand on the glass where it was placed under the tank. Could that of been the problem? Such as a burn blister??
Yes. Any belly heating source must absolutely have a thermostat to prevent it from getting too hot. I've never seen a burn present itself like that, but I've also never had a snake with a burn.
Re: Bubbles on the tail end of my balled python???
Sounds like your heating pad is NOT monitored by a thermostat and has gotten too hot and/or is failing. Possible infection or cyst growth. I would take it to a VET and see what needs to be done. Maybe draining or antibiotics needed. You NEED a thermostat to control your heat pad. And if you're using two bulbs with one fixture, just use the night bulb. The snake can tell night and day with just ambient room light. If you're switching your bulbs out daily their life will be significantly reduced. Get a second fixture or just use the night time bulb 24/7.
