High humidity in rack
So we (my boyfriend and I) bought a rack yesterday, and it came with two snakes. (A Cserpents 3-tub V70, and a 1. mojo and a 1. normal) The mojo was in shed so we set them up in the rack that they came from and sprayed down his bedding. Accurite was just getting dialed back in, but we put the unit in the top shelf where the mojo is even though the probe is in the middle tub - we wanted to get the 'median' heat of the rack but wanted to make sure the mojo had enough humidity to shed.
About three hours after setting them up, I went in to check on the temps and found the mojo's tub sitting at 99%, with condensation. Pulled out the tub to check on the snake - the bedding was wet but not soaking. There was a huge smell, though (you can tell where I'm going with this, probably). The mojo had shed, peed, pooped, and urated all at once, dropping about 70 grams in the process.
After giving it a night to see if some of the humidity would disperse without effect, the Reptibark was exchanged for newspaper. It seemed to help for a bit, but is currently back up at 99%. The guy we bought the rack and snakes from (a local breeder who was getting out) had them on paper with with a bowl big enough for the (now) 750 gram mojo to completely soak in. There's no condensation in the tub now, but the humidity is still high.
So here's my question: I don't want to add holes to these tubs unless it's the very last option, so what can be done to lower the humidity? He's on newspaper with not a huge water bowl (certainly not one big enough for him to soak in) but it's so high I'm not sure what to do.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but why the aversion to putting holes in the tubs? That is generally the way you control humidity in an enclosed rack (aside from moving the waterbowl).
My 10 stack enclosed cserpents cb70 tubs all have holes in them all the way around. Yay Florida humidity
Maybe a dehumidifier in the room? Or a fan?

I don't mind adding holes, but I want to make sure there's nothing more I can do first. Substrate changing and bowl moving is temporary, but poking holes in tubs is permanent. I'm assuming the guy who had the rack before me had okay humidity and it's not like he's on the other side of the state where it's a lot more humid, it should be close to the same.

True, but also keep in mind he may not have been monitoring humidity like you are.
If you are using paper, and have a generally smallish to medium water bowl (on the cool end), then the next step to lowering it would be either holes, fan, or dehumidifier in the room. I went with the holes because it was cheaper/easier to poke holes in the tubs rather than getting a fan/dehumidifier for the room. When the snakies are in shed I just move the water dish over to the warm side and they shed like butter (er...that sounds weird, but you get my point).
If you want to avoid the holes, go for the fan I would think.
If you decide to do the holes, soldering iron is your friend

Holes it is, then I just wanted to see if there was another solution first, is all. Hopefully this high humidity won't lead to problems, dealing with three RIs would not be fun.

I doubt it will. My babies dealt with me fiddling with holes for a solid 2 weeks before I get them where/how I want them. Just don't go poking a zillion holes right off the bat. Start with them well spaced on one or two sides, give it a day or two, and gradually move up. You can always add more holes, but it becomes rather irritating to try and take them away
I still get condensation when they urinate/deficate, but it goes away swiftly with a cleaning. I consider that their "HEY, Mom!!! I'm Dirrrrrrty...come clean me " lol

This boy dropped 70 grams in weight when he pooped! It was the stinkiest, wettest turd ever and the urate was nearly as big! I should have taken a picture, but I was too busy retching and dumping it in the trash to think about that. Ughhhhhhh -shudders-
Yeah I started my girl's tub with three holes on each long side... She's probably got 80 total now. We'll go slow, see how it does.
