Ball not wanting to eat ???
Quick question my ball has refused good the last two feelings should I be concerned?? She's always been a good eater... She's still plump hasn't lost weight and still moving around. Could this just be a phase ?? Or should I be worried ?

Re: Ball not wanting to eat ???
From what I've learned and am experiencing now, balls will go on hungry strikes. I'm used to keeping and breeding retics, so food was never refused lol. I wouldn't worry at all. Try and offer food in another 6 days or so and see what happens. Also watch her weight to make sure she's not losing that much. Quick questions though.....What are your temps like in her enclosure, have you recently moved her to a new cage, and does she have a hide. I've noticed that unlike retics, balls stress a little more easily and have a real need to feel secure.

Re: Ball not wanting to eat ???
I did move her a while ago he's eaten twice since being in her new enclosure ... I did add a new crawl log that she seems to like so that could play a pet in it .... Her temps are 91 on the warm side and 75-80 on the cool side with a humidity usually rite at 50 unless shedding ... I don't do a night drop since they seem to not care for it ...

Re: Ball not wanting to eat ???
Well, just wait her out then....This is a common thing for balls. Like I said offer her food in the next week or so, or maybe even skip 2 feedings, then offer food and see what she does

Re: Ball not wanting to eat ???
Balls do this. How big is she, and how much weight if any has she lost? I have a big male that stops eating this time of year. He hasn't ate currently since end of October, and I suspect he won't resume until about March. Just the way of life with a ball. I wouldn't worry too much.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.
