    Yup this thing...

it is worth every cent add a harness and it is super easy. It is like the old (way old) spider bar. It behaves something like handles but with the ease of a bar something in between.

    Re: Anyone power kite?

I appreciate the advice on the blade i didnt think it was that much stronger than my 3.5 I think I'll steer clear of it now...I enjoy not having broken bones. I will either look into the ozones, or just up the size on another twister after I get that bar and board figured out

    Anyone power kite?

How big are you? The 3.5 might be light depending on board your weight and what you ride on. I have an old flexdeck I used to use and am 230 pounds I learned with a Beamer tsr 3.5 and on the firm sand it wasn't enough.

The blade would be good for light wind days likely just be careful. I use a cooper 4.7 and Razer 5.5 in 10 km or less. Both are high aspect kites and will try to fold in half if you are not watching them carefully. Race kites are the only answer in light winds but they are a handful!

    Anyone power kite?

I am really torn about a positive suggestion. Most of my kites are older so my direct knowledge is older ones a de power kite is fab but priced higher. I think I'd suggest a flexi blurr or rage 3.5 or 5.

I am realizing my bias now I should have sooner. I buggy the blurr is a buggy engine the rage too the blades are not really suited to buggy. If you want to jump maybe the bladeV 3.5 is the right one. Just be careful if you go that way what goes up must come down.

Kitesurfing counts for sure. I have done some but the water is cold and my knee is bad so I never took to it. Kite buggy is my fav, I tried snowboard, mountainboard, skating terrifying, and surfing. Oh and kite dirtsurfing. Snowkiting is ok never loved it, kite boarding is fun but again my sad old knees don't think it is fun. (on pavement it is fast and scary but hey I am over 40.) Skates and kites just far too scary for me. I have kite buggy with ice blades is a whole lot of fun. The dirtsurfer with a kite I never got the hang of it is way wacky and hard.

Buggy for me is peaceful and zen like, and change the kite it is an instant adrenaline pump. I have hit in the 70s speed wise the 6th fastest in Canada. The crazy part of that the beach is less than one mile long. For me buggy is a quick learning curve (basic kite skills in a couple of hours and moving on a buggy in a couple more.) It can be as scary as you want or as calm as you want. It is everything at once. The oldest of the kite sports and to be the best. Tip of the hat to George Pocock and the Charvolant!!!
