regurgitation?

i just noticed today that my male ball python regurgitated his mouse that i fed him on sunday? does anyone have any idea why? this has never happened to me before. thank you in advance for any info!

What is your set up like? There can be many reasons why it regurged.

Did you handle it right after it had ate?
Was the mouse too big? How big is your Bp?

no i havent handled him in like a week, and i feed an adult mouse. its the same i been feeding him, i havent changed anything. he shed last wednesday and he ate just this past sunday.

One of my BPs had his(and mine) first regurgitation in the first week of January. I fed on a Monday afternoon and the mouse came back up on the following Tuesday evening. After some research into causes I deduced that the reason was a temperature spike that occurred because it was a generally warmer day than usual. My hot spot got up to 95 for several hours before I realized it and adjusted temp. Just this evening he finally ate. It took 4 weeks to get his appetite back. Let's hope he keeps it. Hope this helps some.

What are your temperatures like?
Are you feeding live or f/t?

Too cool of a temp can make a snake regurge as well as a unthawed f/t feeder.

Either way, wait 2 weeks before you attempt to feed your snake again. They need time to recover the lost flora in their stomach and to de-stress.
