I wish you hadn't posted this lol. I have a very small room and the majority of it is taken up by my bed, dresser, and 75 gallon fish tank. I managed to squeaze the 20 gal in for my first BP. Seeing this makes me go "Hmmm so I could fit more in here....". I have to tell myself no and to wait till I move out.

I dont have one yet but i will soon. As long as you are providing proper care it doesnt matter how inexpensive your setups are.

    Re: Ghetto snake rack

I'm on campus right now so i can't post a picture, but I have a similar rack for my corn snakes. However, the combination of that rack and my shotty thermostat makes my bedroom 82+ degrees so I'm in the process of upgrading my racks to PVC racks with Herpstats to help control the amount of heat that gets lost into my room to heat up the ambient temps. I've already got a CB70 and sweaterbox rack being run off a herpstat 2 and I LOVE it. hopefully soon i'll add an AP rack and another herpstat into my bunch.

    Re: Ghetto snake rack

When I get closer I plan on getting a hatchling rack from c serpants. When I sell some babies one day hopefully I'll invest in a cb70 or something similar.

Hee hee, we're house shopping right now. His requirement = must have garage for exclusive use as man cave, my requirement = must have an extra room for exclusive use as snake cave.

I actually have my bp and adult corn racks set up exactly like that though it isn't because I can't afford standard racks or build them. Personally, I live in a situation where my hubby doesn't want anything to do with my snakes and that includes helping me move their furniture. With that style, I can move, rearrange, etc. as I please along with the added bonus of when I take my snakes places (they travel with me to my parents and to educational seminars), they just go in their tubs with no switching or bagging necessary. The only real downsides I find to this style are that the heat isn't as efficient because it isn't enclosed and you must have hides for them. Other than that, they are wonderful!

Here's a pic of my juvie bp rack that I took today for someone who was curious about them earlier.
Ball Pythons: 1.1 Pastave (Regulus and Ceti), 0.1 Albino (Aria), 0.1 Lesser (Daenerys), 0.1 Mojave (Sangria), 1.0 Enchi Pastel (Declan), 0.1 Normal (Sydney), 1.0 Lesser pos. het Clown/Pied (Loki), 1.0 het Clown pos. het lavender albino (Liam), 0.2 het Clown (Cara and Milly)

    Corn Snakes: 1.0 Blizzard (Flurry)

Other: 0.1 Bearded Dragon (Faranth), 0.1 Russian Tortoise (Henry), 1.1 Dogs (Floppy and Lucy), 2.1 Cats (Jack, Brando, and Godiva), 1 Very Understanding Husband
