    Nice pattern, but excellent color on him! I've seen alot lately that don't even have great color as a hatchling, but that is nice

    It really depends on the lineage of his Pastel gene....and just random chance.

    I have seen some amazing Pastel gene adults that are super nice and hold their color, and then some that seem to "brown out" really early.

    finally got it yay!!!!

    Here's a pic of my girl. She's held her color pretty well but was brighter orange when she was a baby and her head was a wicked purple color. I'm still very happy with her though!
