We can tell he has lost some weight, but still looks healthy, happy, and active just not eating.

    A scale is your friend.
My male spider only eats 4 meals a year and stays right around a 1000ish grams

i have several that go off feed this time of year including a kingsnake. all stopped eating about oct. One thing you can try that sometimes works is try feeding a slightly smaller size frozen / thawed rat, ( mine normally eats medium size so i offered it a small instead) and leave it in their cage somewhere that would be easy for them to find, overnight. 2 nights ago i did that and when i awoke the next day , all three had eaten sometime during the night. It does not always work though. Also if you have loose bedding that can be ingested, I recommend placing the rat on a paper plate or newspaper.

I will keep offering, but I have a lot of mouths so chances are if the one in fast won't eat it, someone will. If you've just got one, I would offer every two or three weeks and just keep an eye on his weight/appearance.

I do but I feed live and breed my own rats so if it doesn't get eaten then it gets to live another week
