Ok when I was in petco I saw they have live mice but they all look to big for him. I tried to feed him tonight and nothing. So what I did was leave the mouse in the cage by his hide rock which is on the night side. When I was at petco on Saturday they told me to try to make him aggressive, that the one I took might of been the one that was very timid and I've tried that. I've tried while using the thongs to basically smack Lord Tyrion with the mice and nothing. he just keeps snaking along around it. I tried putting him in the bathroom sink with warm water then taking him to the feeding cage to feed him. I tried while he was in the sink to try to feed him and nothing. The funny thing is the 1st time I tried ever was about 5 days after I got him. I put him in the feeding cage, closed it got the mice and then opened it and he was half way out the feeding cage and I had the mice on the things and he went after it but missed, lol and ever since then he doesn't even attempt to go after it. As far as feeding him live mice other than petco where can I get one and how do I know what size is to big or not. I'm in the Queens, NY Area!

You're doing it all wrong. You need to take your thongs and the dead mouse and go back to Petco and smack whoever you've been talking to because they're a moron...

Firstly, you need to get rid of those stick on thermometers. They're complete junk.
Find yourself an Accurite:
http://www.acurite.com/weather/humid...red-probe.html
You can find them at Walmart, I think. We don't have them in Canada. They monitor the hot spot, cool spot and humidity.
Secondly, don't listen to the pet store. Half the time they dont know anything about the snakes they have.
Dont smack him with a mouse. That's just going to make him stressed. :/
Don't out him in sink to feed him. Feed him in his cage. . Z

I'm not aware of that. Can you set the temperature or does it just turn the heat pad on and off .
You should have a heat gradient. A hot side, and a cool side. Temps should be roughly:
Hot side: 89-91 (95 is TOO HOT)
Cool side: 79-81
Ambient: 80ish.
It just turns the stuff on. I think the day lamp is a basking lamp I can't remember the wattage and its hard to read it on the lamp. But during the day I've seen the temps on day side go from 90-95-98, problem is my heat is next to the dresser its on. during the summer I have the AC on which is over it and it cools it. the middle temp reading stays around 80-82. Is it me or this site but when I hit the enter button nothing happens.
