Shedding Problems (HELP!)
Hello everyone,
I just bought my bp on Dec 29, 2012, she is seven months old. I got her from a guy who needed to rehome her due to his living situation. When I came to pick her up she was in less than ideal conditions.
He wasn't keeping the temp or humidity in her tank up, and she had absolutely no hides.
Her previous owner informed me that she was at the end of her shed cycle when I got her. She had several pieces of dry skin still stuck on her, so I helped her by letting her crawl around in a damp pillowcase. I have added two hides to her tank now and have been religiously keeeping her humidity and temps to where they should be.
My question is her eyes appear to be milky and her belly pink as if she was going into shed again. I am very confused and I can't figure out if she's about to shed again or not.I need to feed her this week. Please help with any advice you can offer.
Thanks!

The milky eyes may be from previous stuck sheds and should come off on its own. Without pictures, I can't say if she's going into shed again or not, but my BPs never have a problem eating while in shed. If she's settled in well, maybe offer her the food and if she doesn't take it, don't worry. Or, if you're really worried about it, just wait to offer her the food until you figure it out. They can go awhile without feeding and be okay and from what I've read, a lot of them take a week or two in new homes before they're willing to eat regardless.
I'm new, so if any of the information I gave was incorrect, please feel free to correct me.

My guess is the snake probably shed a while ago and the previous owner was too lazy or unconcerned to do anything about it. Feed her if she's hungry. Let her shed when she's ready.
