It's a damn shame you can't breed him/her, 'cause look at those flames! I'd be curious as to what that would prove out to.
Then again at the very least it's a very pretty normal. Although I wonder if that tail kink is near his/her vent, and if that would cause any problems for it to go to the bathroom?
He/she has no problem going to the bathroom at all.

Those flames have only shown up after his third shed...but he/she is a happy snake...I also named him Pugsly for his/her birth defect.
I don't think you need to sequence the genome of a BP to tell if it has one x and one y chromosome. We have been able to see chromosomes for a long time now
