No problems feeding

I feed my bp every saturday. Ive had him for 9 months and he has NEVER refused a single meal. And also i had absolutely no problem at all switching him over from mice to small rats. In fact the longest ive waited for him to strike is about 10 seconds. Will he eventually go off feed like ive heard from many people or did i just get lucky and got a real good feeder?

Yes i am. the rats i give him are the size of his wider part of the body

He is currently at 500 grams

Around 1000 grams BPs seem to go off feed. I'm dealing with that now with a snake that never refused a meal

How long has he/she been off food? What is the weight?

I agree that they all eventually go on a hunger strike. I haven't had a problem with the 1000g wall though. I had one hit the 300g wall and stop eating for about 2.5 months. Most of mine once they start getting bigger just skip meals every now and again. I feed on the slower side though.

im getting a spider on the 11th. He is gonna be about 120 grams. I just hope he eats like my normal male. How often do you feed

I have one of my first snakes ( a male spider) that only eats 3 or 4 small rats a year. He maintains his weight at about 900g
