My 4 and 5 year old Ball Pythons

I just become a member to this site..So first off I want to say Hi to eveyone....
About 5 months ago I was the new mommy to a 4 and 5 year old Ball Pythons..Got them from a friend at work who wasn't able to care for them anymore ( retiring and moving in an RV)...These snakes are the best snakes i've ever had...But I do have a question..Both are females....Molly is 5 and I try to feed her at 3 weeks, 4 week......... 5 weeks and 3 days is her feeding time....Hatchet ( even though it turns out he is acually a she..but we still call him a him ) eats every 2 weeks..today 10 days....But she still is roaming around her tank like she's hungry?????? I've heard snakes can go a long time without food....But mu hubby and me are wondering why 1 snake can eat every 10 days and the other who is a year older goes 5 weeks and 3 days without eating.....They both eat live rats..Thanks for any info ..Also..I do feed them outside their tank in a large see-through tote..

    What are they eating?
And do you have a weight (in grams) on them? That's one of the easiest ways to determine how much they should be eating.

It's generally a good idea to feed 10-15% of their body weight. Usually every 5-10 days.

For bps who eat rats get feed every 7-10 days. But I usually feed my mousers every 5 days. They'll usually only eat one or two mice at a time..

ETA: I feed all my snakes in their homes. Feeding aggression is a myth. You're more likely to get bit by accident when moving your snake back to its cage when it could be in "eating mode".
