what size cage would be best for a bearded dragon...bear in mind that i will want to add another one later on.

I would suggest a 40 gallon or bigger for 2 beardies. They like the room, and it is best not to over crowd them, please keep in mind that if you get 2 males, they can and most likely will fight, and they sometimes get brutal about it.

For 2 I'd go with 2'3.5'

hmmm...yes i know 2 males will fight..for 2 i think im getting a 4 long 2 wide 3 high just for fun
