Need help quickly, Balll Python hasn't fully shed in 1-2 months.

No it was not me i would have misted her cage during shedding, I found him on craigslist and i had to get him he is about 4 ft long and seems generally healthy besides the left over shed that he has said been on there for 2 months. He said she wasn't shedding well so he gave up misting etc, He is a mean snappy snake and will bite you whenever. He didn't have a heat pad on it but the tank was nicely decorated. Anyways i misted her, im think i should put her in some warm bath water to let the skin come off or should i assist, im kinda scared of getting bit by him. (Btw he was notorious for biting.) And one more time i bought this snake off craigslist to give him a good caring home.

I would give him a good soak. You can also let him crawl around in a damp pillowcase. Just make sure he can get air

Not having a heat source is probably why he is so mean. Get the husbandry in order and he might turn out to be a nice guy

I was on the Clist today looking at the local adds for the heck of it. The add I chased down said Burmese Ball Python $225, no pics. Of coarse it turned out to be a normal 3 y/o bp, still on mice, pieces of shed strewn around the the the tank (included in asking price). Really it was not in too bad of shape so it didn't trigger my impulse/instinct to rescue it.

Good luck with your new acquire.
