    Herpstat 4 ?????

    Heya, all.

    So...I'm spending WAY too much time surfing this site (and all the links to other BP-related sites that I find on here).

    I have a 4-stack vivarium at my home, that I built myself. It's made from oak plywood and plexiglass. For each of the 4 vivariums, I have an intellitemp heat pad that sits underneath linoleum flooring. On top of the linoleum is the aspen or cypress substrate. Right now, I am running all 4 pads off of one thermostat, and use added substrate to get my temps where I want them in each tank.

    I've recently found a good bit of info on the Herpstat 4, and it sounds like it was made specifically for me!!

    I have two corns, and two BPs. Obviously, the corns need temps that are lower than what's needed for my pythons...so the idea of being able to manage each tank individually sounds awesome.

    Here's my question(s):

    1. Does anybody out there use one of these Herpstats in a similar set-up...and if so, is it working well for you?

    2. Anybody know where the best place to buy one might be?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    KD

    I <3 my herpstat 4. Right now I use it for GTPs, ATBs, and a ball python.

    1. Kinda, All of the enclosures I use the herpstat with aren't identical, which is why I need the herpstat!

    2. Straight from their website is where most people get them. I got mine from a re-seller since they live close by me and I could get it shipped next day for a low cost.

    I have multiple spyder robotics products, but no herpstat 4. All the stuff by them that I have however gets two thumbs up from me.

    Re: Herpstat 4 ?????

    you can't go wrong with the herpstat 4. I use one. I control 3 different racks systems with it and I also have the humidity sensor to control the humidity in my room. I also have a few herstat nd. great for the incubator, great for racks too. and I have a few helix, not many features on them, but been used for years in the reptile community. my next thermostat will be another herpstat 4. the herpstat 4 sounds to be what your looking for in a thermostat. good luck don

    Re: Herpstat 4 ?????

    I've got the Herpstat 2 and I love it. Two thermostats in one. I may buy a Herpstat 4 next time I buy a thermostat.

    I have the herpstat 1, kinda kicking my self for not getting the 2. I haven't actually used it yet though, still sitting in the box waiting for my T8 to arrive. But I went with the herpstat because of the recommendations on this forum.
