    Flexwatt problems

I dont know what to effin do. I know how to daisy chain/spice wires together. But for some fricken reason my top piece of flexxwatt is 10+ degrees hotter than the bottom two. Its the last of the daisy chain. What do i do? I even tried puttin that one on a seperate plug on the same thermostat amd still too hot! Are the little metal clips on steroids?' I dont get it.

Could it be that the other strips aren't connected as well? Have you tried putting your probe on that strip and seen how the others reacted? I'm not too sure aside from loose connections possibly...

Those little clips I've heard aren't the best connection. I'm assuming that fore some reason it has a better connection than the others. I would solder the wires too the flexwatt. It's what I do and I've had no issuers. Also what are you using to measure the heat?

Do you have one piece wired to the next or do you have each piece soldered to leads that go to a power strip or something similar, with each piece wired to it's own lead?

The clips suck. They don't connect very well and the electricity doesn't run evenly through them. I used them for my first batch of flexwatt and none of the equally sized pieces ran the same temp. Solding the wires directly to the flexwatt fixed the problem.

I soldered mine too as it seemed like a better connection. That would make a good deal of sense, it being the clips.
