    This... The only addition is I work with a rescue agency and in the case of severe dehydration caused by neglect, we sometimes soak as well, although that depends on the animal and the seriousness of the issue. Stress is a very serious concern too.

    Mine get a bath whenever they mess their cage. They really like it when the temps are just right, 87 degrees when it's cool out, 85 degrees when it's warm. Works for me here in San Diego. Might be different elsewhere.

    If I can tell they're having a bit of trouble passing a bowel movement and bumping the temps doesn't quite get it done, I occasionally give a warm bath with fantastic results.

    Only when needed. If they are too dry, or if they are too dirty I'll give them a bath but most times I can wipe them down with a damp face cloth. They're not like people, where they need to be bathed on the regular. Bathing a snake can be very stressful for them, and unless they need it - It's unnecessary.

    I have had my snakes very long but my male was having trouble passing. warm bath made him go within 5 minutes lol. huge white lump came out. was this calcium?

    I had to bathe my het pied female because it looked like she had been digging in her poo with her face. Very gross.
