Exclamation Ball Python drank water and then thew up blood.

I need help. I am very very worried. My son took his ball python out of it's enclosure after refilling its water bowl and the snake drinking. He was holding the snake and the snake threw up bloody water. The snake has not seemed to have any other symptoms. It has been about two weeks since he has eaten.

Has anyone ever experienced this before this before or have any advice. I know that taking him to the vet would be the #1 advice...but if there is any other advice or info...I would be super grateful!

    Hi,

Was the bloody stuff the consistency of water or thicker like mucus?
