    Re: Poop

Normal. When he's gotta go he'll go.. I used to base feeding off of them pooping but doing that doesn't get 'em fed enough. Sometimes my spider boy goes every 5 days but he has gone triple that. I just know that they're always super hungry when after they finally do poop!

What kind of substrate is that?

Sometimes they sit in their water bowl because they have mites. Are there little black specs in that water or on the snake?

The other time they might sit in the water bowl is for security. What kind of hide does he have? Does he fit snugly into it the way he's snug in that bowl?

The susbtrate is cork granulate and thats whats in the water. His hide is good. He has both a cold and a warm hide. My friend tells me he spends alot of time hiding just before shedding and he will be more active after.
