To feed or to wait that's the question.

So my ball ate her first rat last Sunday. It's a little late in coming cuz petco wouldn't order me small enough ones. But today is feeding day and she has yet to poop should I wait for her too or should I just feed her? When she was on two mice a week shed poop after four days so just thought I'd ask the pros their thoughts. Here's the girl eatting her big girl meal.

I would go ahead and feed her as scheduled personally. Bps go at different times. Some only go once a month, some weekly, just depends!

My older girl who is a year and a half old just went Friday night and the last time she went before that was when she shed was the 12th of October.

Our younger ones have not gone in about two weeks I think.

The older girl eats weekly and the younger ones are on a 5 day schedule.

Feed away My Female pied will wait until she sheds to poop. I am not kidding she will sometimes wait months to poop just for a shed. OR she will almost always poop the day after her monthly cage clean and sanitize

Haha with all those hopes I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to over feed her so thank you everyone I tend to over worry about my animals at times be easier if they could just tell me what's up an what they need but until then ill worry too much lol 😄

Re: To feed or to wait that's the question.

I always keep to our normal feeding schedule, seems to keep the snakes in a routine. Also, as far as pooping, I do not worry to much because each BP goes whenever they please. Never when you want them too. Also, if you are really worried, run your hand down the sides and belly of your BP and feel for any hard lumps and or soak it for 30 minutes in warm water, this will usually kick start the process.
