changed hides now only staying on cool side ???

,,,,, got rid of the bulky naturalistic hide and got some from reptile basics ... this is the first time I've added a hide to the cool side. My temps are spot on ( have temp gun ) . Now he seems to never leave his coolside hide.

Do you have the same hides on both sides? They really seem to like the security of the reptile basics hides. With them being snug, one opening, and dark. If you have different hides perhaps he is favoring one?

..... yeah I purchased two so I would have the same on both sides ....
