How long after pre-ovulation shed is ovulation?

I'm sure this is here somewhere but I can't find it in my hurry... how long after the pre-ovulation shed do you usually see ovulation?

Re: How long after pre-ovulation shed is ovulation?

no such thing. any shed before ovulation is just incidental normal shedding and can vary greatly before ovulation. Shedding before ovulation is not an accurate measurement for guaging when they will ovulate. They will shed 2-3 weeks after ovulation and that is the shed you want to be looking for to start your countdown till eggs. Instead, focus on building, glowing, refusing males, and going of of food for more accurate timeline of approaching ovulation.

2-4 weeks. My het lavender has skipped her pre-lay shed two years in a row; instead she does a pre-ovulation shed about 21 days beforehand.

For most females the pre-lay shed is more reliable. The pre-ovy shed is optional.

2 weeks to 3 months with my girls. Save yourself some stress and dont start counting until you see an ovy.
