YEAH!!! I must be doing something right....Severus was 85 grams when I got him about 2 weeks ago...and he's up to 135g already! Granted he hasn't pooped yet, so I'm guessing he will lose some of that. (Is it weird that he hasn't pooped after 2 meals?) AND he's definitely in shed! His eyes are blue instead of his pretty green and his belly is slightly pinkish. I'm excited! I'm trying to keep the humidity up for him and might do a humid hide. Hopefully he gets through this shed soon and I can say we survived our first 2 feedings and a shed! Woo hoo! LOL small victory, but big for a newbie

YAY! I love small victories! I recently got two of my ball pythons to eat frozen/thawed rats (one was eating strictly mice) so I know how happy these things can make you. Keep up the good work!

I'd definitely add a humid hide. I just dampen some sphagnum moss and put it under the warm hide. Also, expect a poop soon! Some of mine only poop when they shed, but I have another who poops about every two weeks like clockwork!

I can relate. My male clown is just a hatchling @86 grams and its been so long since I had last kept a baby, I was anxious to see him take his first meal in my care.
