    Lost my female...

This isn't the first time I've lost my female pastel. Last time she was gone for a month and we ripped our house apart to only find here one day on our bookshelf curled between some books 2 feet from her cage.
Now she just hit breeding weight and isn't small. (She could be more then 1200 I just don't have a scale right now.) About a week ago i accidentally left her tub open by accident by just a bit...the next morning she was gone. My apartment isn't big. Directly in front of the snake rack is our couch. To the right is our big closet which is always closed. Can they fit under a door like that? I'm also worried that she followed the wall the other way which would have taken her the our washer and dryer which scares the poop out of me...
I don't exactly know what I'm asking in this post. I did tons of research last time this happened and pretty know what to do. But so stressed out with life right now my wife's newly pregnant (sort of) and sick all the time and I just lost my Job. among other things. I just can't seem to muster the will to crack down and find her...
I'm going try today when I get home I'm just scared Shes hurt or in my washer. Worst part is this is the snake I gave my wife on our one year anniversary of dating a couple of years ago. Sigh. I wish I could quickly teach my retriever/heeler mix to sniff her out lol.

    Thanks for listening guys

Look for her at night. Turn the lights out, wait 1/2 hour or longer, then come out in the room with the rack and quietly listen. And then search around the baseboards and under things with the flashlight. When's the last time she ate? You can increase the chances of catching her by putting out a frozen rat/mouse near the rack shortly before you turn the lights off.

You can also use talcum powder. Sprinkle it around the walls, in the corners, under the furniture. Open that door and sprinkle it just inside, and then close it again. Sprinkle some in warm dark corner, and then leave a water bowl out.

Good luck. I always find mine, but I have had some heart attacks. They've gone behind the dishwasher, behind the dryer. My black pastel female found my old college stereo speakers and crawled inside a hole in the back. TWICE. She did it as a baby, and she did it as an adult.
