    Question Questions on Egg Laying

Just a few questions on egg laying:
    1. Do ball pythons tend to lay less eggs in their first ever clutch, or is that irrelevant?
    2. Is the number of eggs related to the length of the snake?
    3. If a Female is 1900g before she breeds, around what weight will she be after laying?
    4. After a female lays eggs, how long should you wait to feed her?

    Thanks in advanced

    1. I've had first year breeders lay 12 eggs. It depends more upon the age and health of the female.
    2. More so to the overall size. Weight matters too.
    3. Depends upon the individual snake. Some lose lots of weight, some not that much.
    4. I wash her and the enclosure right after removing the female and placing the eggs in the incubator. This removes the egg scent. I've had them eat as soon as the next day.
