    Possible feeding issues

I recently started a dubia roach colony as crickets were becoming pretty costly. I bought both my girls at the same time but one is about 10g larger than the other. The larger one really never showed signs of not wanting to eat, while from the get go the smaller one didn't really seem to eat much. They both were at least eating so I wasn't really concerned....boy were they pooping too lol. Now that I used up the last of the crickets and gone strictly to dubias they don't appear to be eating at all the last few days. They are both down a couple grams each in weight. I have been leaving the roaches in a small dish thinking that my girls just didn't wanna eat with me watching. Based on my research I never got the impression that beardies could be picky eaters. How long should I let this go before i give up on the dubia and go to crickets again?

My beardie loves dubias! The breeder I got him from had him started on crickets, so when I got him dubia were totally new to him. Took him about 2 weeks to really start recognizing them as a food source and now he gets all excited when he sees me dusting them.

...now my problem is getting him to eat his greens!

    Re: Possible feeding issues

Well my smaller one has now pounced on a couple on each of the last 2 days but the larger one still nothing. The larger one was the first to eat them too so I dunno what her deal is.
